My Old Schedule

This blog has a special meaning in my life. Here I will post my own topics and my own feelings. So let me start with my 'old is gold' days.

Today I found a diary of phone numbers which I had written last time probably a few YEARS ago. That started my nostalgia about remembering my friends. I had probably brought this diary with me without any special reason, here.

One thing I noticed was that the diary had landline numbers written in it. So that signifies that 80% of people at that time didn't have their personal cell phones. Having your own cell phones means that your busyness has increased.

Before 10th standard, my schedule was just awesome. I would come from school around 1 PM. I would have my tutions from 2 to 3:30 in the noon. The main thing was that I went to private tutions which were just opposite to my apartment. After 4 PM, we would all gather down to play Cricket. It was as awesome as it gets. Atleast 8 to 10 people came to play cricket everyday. And it was fun because  we all loved that sport a lot. We would give everything in it. At 6:30, we would conclude playing and go to our respective homes. I would study for a while till 8. And then family time. So I would sleep at 10 and wake up at 6 AM.

So it was an innocent life. Not much to do. A straightforward life full of amazement and excitement.

But in those days, I dreamt of being an adult. I so much wanted to enter adulthood. But adulthood presents its own set of challenges. There are times now when I think that childhood, and indeed, school was the best part of my life.

Few days before Nisarg (my cricket friend of Surat) texted me saying that we had a tournament in April. So I was pretty excited about it. Playing cricket with my old friends. It would just be that sort of feeling again. But because of college exams, I will not be able to go there and play. I have always taken my game very seriously.

Occasionally I would go out with my parents or friends on weekends. It would normally be chilling out or having dinner. I go to Surat normally every month and chill out everytime.

Hopefully, even the next time I go there it will all be fun after some unexpected things have happened in my life.
