Social Media among teens

Today, Social media has rendered the global youth into oblivion. It is revealed that people now spend more time in Social Networking sites in a day than they do sleeping. This has created a lack of public awareness and moral code of conduct. It has also affected the youth, mentally and physically. People suffer more from depression, head-aches, body-aches and what not! This was bound to happen as we saw the over-reliance of the human civilization on technology. We have forgotten the moral values and the art of conversation. There is a lack of new ideas and creativity. While we can also see the positive side of it, its risks can’t be overlooked. We see the increasing popularity of roasts and vines on YouTube among teens as a way of earning money. Here I am stressing the importance of YouTube as a medium of gaining knowledge and skills rather than as a potential source of entertainment. Blogging, on the other hand, has enhanced the writing skills. It has given a platform to young minds
