“We don’t meet people by accident; they are meant to cross our paths for a reason.”

In life, you meet a lot of people. Is there a reason behind meeting someone? Do we all meet by chance? What is destiny? These questions baffle me as much as anybody. I think we all ought to have an opinion on this. So, according to me, we meet people because of some reason.

They say that if you have a positive attitude and you remain happy all the time and luck is favoring you these days then chances are you are going to meet your soulmate soon. It’s like as if the whole universe immerses itself in the process of amalgamation of two souls or acquaintances.

Just think of it this way. You met a person on a train. She was all soaked in sweat. So, you lend her help. You get to know that she has missed her train because she got stuck in traffic. She had to take another one ultimately. What transpired all this? Was it all chance? I don’t think so. Another minute here or there and she probably would have travelled by another train and you wouldn’t even know that she existed. A lot of people meet this way and you never know when they become best friends.

Some people enter your life only for some time. They seem like they are going to be there with you throughout. But for any other reason, they leave. Then what’s the purpose? Perhaps they came in your life to teach you something.  Some people stay with you though. Anyways, its not the length of time that matters, it’s the amount of energy they bring either positive or negative in your life. So, any person that comes in your life changes you for good or bad and probably leaves you in a better state than you were in the first place.

The beauty of life lies in its subtleties. Embrace and appreciate the beautiful people in your lives. They have made an impact in your life more than you could ever imagine just like someone did in my life. She was a total stranger to me. I kind of liked short stories she posted and she liked my posts too. I think people are brought together by common interests and not by “two unlike poles attract each other” kind of way. I certainly feel a deep connection with her which I probably haven’t felt in my life before. Whatever it is, I hope that this amazing connection stays with me forever. I don’t feel this is a coincidence or an accident. It was always meant to be; we were always meant to cross each other’s paths.

I woke up in the morning at 5 because my bus was going to arrive from the highway at 7. I realized how badly I needed a break from my routine. Thus, I decided to go the hills with a bunch of few unknown people. This was going to be one hell of a trip.
