Love

LOVE. It is the single-most emotion that keeps humans or broadly stating, living creatures bonded together. You love your family and your family loves you, that’s the reason you are all together. Simple.

Albert Einstein once wrote letters to his daughter. In it, he stated that the Universal force of Love is the greatest and strongest force in the world. Love is power, Love is gravity, Love is God and God is Love. It is this force that has the power to heal the world. In the world famous equation E=m*c^2, if E is considered as the Energy required to heal the pain and sufferings of the world, then love multiplied by light squared is its solution and conclude that it is the most powerful force. We have been salvaged from selfishness of humanity because of this force.

On the occasion of Christmas, we celebrate love in its purest form. The love of a daughter for her father, the love of a mother for her son, the love of a person for their spouse, the love between two friends and so on. The entire human life is based on connections and attachments with other people and the basis of this attachment is indeed, love. They say “Joy multiplies by spreading; Sorrow divides by spreading”. So true!

Tell people you love them. Don’t shy away from the fear of rejection. There’s nothing to lose. At least you tried and said what was inside. Maybe he/she won’t accept you right now but possibly later. The foundation of love is actually friendship. Over the years, we have witnessed two people who started off as friends and gradually, feelings developed and they became life partners. Same might happen with you.

Apologize to people whom you have hurt. Put your ego aside. You won’t become small. Not now but possibly later he/she will understand that you are sorry for your actions and that you didn’t do that intentionally to hurt someone. You will save your relationship surely.

Spread love. Be positive and share your energy around to people. Show people that they are a very important part of your life be it your colleagues; your friends; your spouse; your family and so on. Show them they are not taken for granted.

Life is too short to regret. Don’t regret anything you can’t have. I regretted that my best days of school life were wasted on something worthless. But I realized that I am more or less making up for it right now. Similarly, your unwillingness to act might become a possible reason for regret in future. Your inability to tell people you love them or apologize to them for your actions might haunt your later.

By doing this in our lives, we will make the world a better place to live in for sure. Merry Christmas!
