Life is a Celebration
So, you had just had a bad day at the
office and you are preparing to go home. At home, you meet your wife and start
complaining to her about stuff that went wrong at the office today. But guess
what? She is in no mood to listen to any of that as she herself has had a
terrible day at her workplace. So, you realize that you can’t do much about
this fact and put a smile on your face and help her out in the kitchen. You
dine together after a while and catch up later. You finally talk and
communicate to each other about your respective days. You both realize that
life is much more about complaining and lashing out at each other.
So, whenever you feel down and sad and
depressed about stuff that is going on with you in your life, Breathe, sit back
and Relax! Not everything that you wish goes according to plan. So, today by
listing out points I am going to be reminding you about the fact that Life is worth
living and Life, in essence, is a Celebration.
- Stay Detoxified: Stay away from all the negativity and all the negative people surrounding you. Whenever you feel sad and depressed just communicate with your loved ones and they will ensure that you don’t fall into a deep pit. Communication is the single most virtue that humans have been gifted with. By just talking with fellow human beings, a lot and in some cases, most of your stress and anxiety can be reduced. Your loved ones might not be able to provide you with the correct guidance to solve your problems but they will ensure that you get distracted from the things that are causing you the stress and anxiety in the first place.
- Retreat: When you feel worked out completely or are drained, remember you can always afford to take a break or go on a vacation and if you can’t afford that, then you can go for a stroll in the park, or take your wife and kids to dinner, or simply meet your friends at a bar. Remember to appreciate the most basic things in life such as holding your kids’ hand and going on a walk with him/her or just smelling the flowers in a garden.
- Celebrate: The best way to remind yourself that Life is a Celebration is by celebrating itself. Invite you friends or family members to a house party or just celebrate your or your kid’s birthday by inviting your loved ones over. You will also get to know about others’ perspective on life and career.
- Express Gratitude: Once again, whenever you feel sad or depressed, talk to people and communicate about your life problems. Appreciate that if you have food, clothing, shelter, loving friends and a caring family, you have most of the things necessary to sustain your life. Save more and spend less. Appreciate that you have imbibed good thoughts and values and morals in your life and understand the importance of life values life honesty, integrity, compassion and kindness.
